Late Night Art Making...
These are the pictures of how my two projects have progressed within last few hours, in relation to the previous post. I love the change in both, though I must say, the paper bag collage is the one stealing my heart. They are both completely different in theme and design, so any evaluation based on comparison is, by default, biased....

What fun projects! And they are delightful! I love TJ bags too! I have done a couple of "junk drawer" collages this month and keep thinking "oh dear" what am I doing? But they are what they are, and they have the message of making things with what you have and making something out of them. I think "they" feel important, don't you?

April, I agree. I think we are just a 'tiny bit' desensitized to our surroundings and we have to re-learn how to see things anew, a perhaps more importantly, to imagine new possibilities. That was my, not-so-conscious, intention for these two pieces. Hopefully we can re-engage the fun of what we call 'ordinary' in our lives...
