Finding My Way...

I feel as though I've went through a dark tunnel in last few days and I'm glad to remember Peace within again. Finally I've put some closure on a situation that's been draining tremendous amounts of my emotional energy and I did not realize the extent of its heavy toll on me until I decided to let go and move on. The serenity of relief and inner peace has been quiet palpable and yet energizing. Throughout the turmoil I did engage my creativity, though in a rather haphazard manner....now I look forward to enter back into the flow of life and creation....

Hand-made paper on wood panel that will be glued to the surface with Golden Soft Gel Semi-Gloss.

A pour of Golden Self-Leveling gel will protect the sensitive paper from any future damage and will create a glossy texture.

I applied, the one and only, Crackle Paste to the surface creating a border-effect. For XXX-Large cracks use heavy volume of paste.

I mixed Hard Molding Paste with Golden Heavy Body Acrylics Quinacridone Burnt Orange and Interference Oxide Red, and spreaded thick layer of this mixture across.

Using a color shapers of various sizes I played with ebbs, flows, and patterns my hand was making.... great fun!

I have begun to paint crackled edges with Liquid Sap Green, and that's it for now....
