Today has been embellished with beauty, love of artmaking, and deep gratitude for being able to be of service to someone living thousands of miles away.... THANK YOU, Patti from Trinidad and Tobago for reading my blog, YOU are an inspiration to me! Once again I'm reminded that I do not have a creative ownership over what is Be-Coming ~ and that is not grandiosity, it is Creative Faith In Action.
Here are few snapshots I've captured along the way....
I applied Golden Liquid Acrylics Indian Yellow with a palette knife in selected areas to accentuate creases and changes in texture.
Next I spreaded a thin, undiluted layer of Golden Liquid Acrylics Titan Buff with a palette knife across the surface, including the the raised gallery profile.
In the above photo I'm applying a semi-thick layer of Golden Heavy Gel Matte with a palette knife to the entire canvas' surface.
Waiting for gel to settle and dry.... finally.
What a nice day you had. And I love how you use the coats of paint. Adds mystery. ...April
