I've been working on my Mandala veeeery slowly and at the same time working on my business' corporate tax return - the least favorite activity in a twelve-month period for me. Period.
I found out today that my article describing a step-by-step project 'Modern Women' has been accepted and published on Creativity Portal and will also be featured in CP's ezine. I feel very blessed and grateful to be able to share my work with others.
I have been also putting some energy into creation and booking of a workshop for this fall tentatively titled 'Creating A Personal Mandala For Self-Enrichment And Balance.' Once everything is scheduled I'll post the details.
In the meantime I am looking very much forward to the next month's Artist Way group journey.... it is a spiritual chiropractic adjustment for me.
Blessings,
Tatiana

Hi Tatiana,
ReplyDeleteI love your mandala in progress here. Colors are divine, looks like leaves. What materials are you using? Glad to see you balancing art with life necessities. Think things are more doable that way.
Yes, the online artist way group has been a spiritual chiropractic adjustment (I love this phrase) for me too. Actually, my life up to this point has been this way, but in a pain-free joyous way! Can't wait till you join us at AW.
Hi Bev,
ReplyDeleteThank your for your kind words. For my mandala materials I bought a large sheet of decorative, Italian-made paper at Dick Blick. The paper has a canvas-like texture and once I put a layer of Golden Gel Semi-Gloss on it it has a feeling of a wallpaper, I actually easly washed off some spots of dried crackle paste and acrylic paint from its surface. Really cool paper and I love its design, too.
Congratulations on the publication :)
ReplyDeleteHello Tatiana - Your blog is very inspiring. Beautiful work! Love your sharing; thank you. ...April
